Fire Facilities, Inc., has created an easy way to view information and temperatures when you are away from the Scout temperature monitor. This application allows for Bluetooth connectivity with your own Apple device to the FFI Scout temperature monitor (up to a maximum of 270 feet without obstructions). Your Apple device will display the temperature monitor’s real-time temperatures of up to 9 thermocouples, maximum temperature reached, battery life, current time, if logging is enabled, and if the memory is full. The display will also notify you if you are disconnected from the temperature monitor. This unique application allows the training and safety officers to be away from the area where the temperature monitor is installed, while still being able to monitor the temperatures within the burn rooms, and ensure that the trainees are still practicing within a safe and controlled environment.
